I am an educator with over 10 years of experience teaching students from around the world. After graduating from the New School in 2011, I taught English as a second language in Brazil for three years before returning to the United States where I have continued to enjoy working with students both as an English as a Second Language teacher and as a private tutor. I have extensive experience with the TOEFL exam in addition to the SAT and ACT. Above all I derive a great deal of joy from getting to know my students and helping them to achieve their goals.

I worked at the UPenn Genetics and Immunology departments for several years after graduation before deciding to focus on educational services for college admissions. Hi, I’m Sofia! I am currently a Microbiology major and Biochemistry major at Virginia Tech.
