What can I tutor at PMTutoring?

We hire tutors for two separate teams:

  1. Test Prep Team

  2. Subject Tutoring Team

Test Prep Team

This team helps to prepare students for the SAT and ACT. We expect candidates to have two years of Test Prep Tutoring experience and proficiency in both the Reading/Writing and Math portions of the tests. If you are applying to this team, please include your most recent Test scores from either the SAT or ACT (i.e. 1560 SAT score and 34 ACT score).

Subject Tutoring Team

This team helps students with the subjects that they are experiencing at school. Although most of our volume comes from math and science courses (algebra to physics to calculus), we like to keep individuals on staff who can cover a range of topics! If you are applying to this team, please include all subjects that you are comfortable tutoring and the highest level you can assist with (i.e. AP Physics, entry-College Chemistry, Honors Algebra II).
