Our Programs

We offer specialized tutoring for Standardized Tests (SAT and ACT), as well as in regular school subjects (Math, Sciences, Reading, etc.), and our custom mission transition program.

We tailor each student's lesson plan to fit their learning style and what is expected of them from their specific schools and teachers to maximize efficiency and results. We meet at our office space in central New Jersey and work virtually over Zoom.

SAT/ACT TUTORING

Our tutors are experts on test prep strategy, and work to quickly determine areas for improvement which would provide the most impact to your score. The SAT/ACT program is designed to provide high-precision, individualized learning and growth for our students, and follows a 3 step process of: (1) Diagnosis, (2) Focused Reviews, and (3) Execution. This process help students feel comfortable with tests so they can easily recognize the intricacies and nuances of test prep.

HIGH SCHOOL ACADEMICS

We help teach subjects at a fundamental level so a student not only knows what to do, but knows why they are doing it. We use detailed examples, and teach the core concepts so that a student will understand any variation of the same types of problem. Too often, students try to memorize a series of steps; we promote thorough learning, and only consider a topic mastered when the student is comfortable enough to teach it back themselves.

MISSiON TRANSITION

Our goal is to provide a holistic experience to our students, so we have launched a program to help students acclimate to high school from middle school! This program is designed not to teach the Pythagorean theorem, or physics formulas, or gas laws, but to teach students how to build the core principles they need to excel in High School. We teach students how to pick apart arguments, comprehend todays complex news, conduct research, figure out how to solve problems, and know where and how to turn for resources and help when they need it.

Essay Service

Now more than ever, we believe that writing an outstanding college essay is crucial to building a strong college application. Thoughtful, well-crafted essays help to humanize the students behind the applications in a way that their GPAs, test scores, and resumés simply cannot. Our team is here to make sure your student is representing themself as strongly as possible through brainstorming, formatting, editing, and anything else you need. We are here to walk through the writer’s block, the moments of inspiration, and the passion of each individual student.

Strategic Reading Club

Whether a student is preparing for the SAT, struggling in an English class, or wanting to improve their reading skills before entering college, our Strategic Reading Club can meet their needs. Each student who joins the program will take an intensive reading personality test, immediately receive suggested readings of various difficulties and lengths, and schedule one-on-one sessions that will train them to become stronger readers and develop comprehension skills.

Math PRimer

Our Math Primer program is an individualized course designed to bolster basic Algebra and Arithmetic skills before introducing some standardized testing applications of those concepts. Students begin with an assessment based on their school math course completion and current math level. Following the results, we will pair them with a math specialist according to their strengths, weaknesses, and growth areas.
