Dave Harris, J.D., M.M.
Dave Harris is the Founder and Chief Differentiator of Dog Star Prep, LLC. He has worked in higher education since 1988 and has served as an award-winning faculty member, MBA director at the University of Utah, business dean, and college president. He has been recognized for both teaching and research excellence and has served on numerous economic development boards. Dave also has senior management experience at Itochu Corporation, a large Japanese trading company, and Murata Business Systems, a global facsimile corporation.
Dave earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence and a Master of Management from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington. He is a certified professional coach and has helped many students and executives develop and implement one-of-a-kind career strategies.
Dave’s Become the Dog Star™ leadership development program teaches high school and college students how to stand out to academic institutions and prospective employers. This one-of-a-kind program provides practical advice on how to build outstanding professional networks as well as obtain the skills and knowledge necessary to be competitive in the 21st century. Dave’s program goal is to help students differentiate themselves to stand out from the competition. His program is all about enhancing student success.
